Blu Ray Disc, also known as BD is an optical storage medium, which have similarities with the normal CD or DVD. It can store much more volume than traditional reference discs. Single-sided Blu-ray Disc may have a capacity of 25 GB, while a part of Blu-ray will have a capacity of 50GB. A blue laser beam is used to read the disc, which is why the album is named. Traditional CD players use a green laser to read data from disk and therefore it is impossible for the traditional players to play and download data to a BD.
